In a world where every day feels like a choice — to adapt or to escape — we created a project that doesn’t make you choose.
The BACKSTAGE Summer Lookbook is a visual story about people who build their own little islands of safety amid the noise of the city.
It’s about those who consciously choose inner peace every day — whether they are in the city centre, in the stream of news, among concrete walls, or on the frontline.
Three looks.
Three moods.
One main idea — a person as their own place of power.
NATURE
Childlike sincerity and spontaneity — this story is about the pure, nostalgic memories we all share.
A picnic right in the middle of the city, with fresh grass laid over asphalt — a symbol of time when you want to escape, of summer, childhood, and carefreeness.
This look is about allowing yourself to be — without the seriousness of adulthood.
SEA
A frame that says: “I can create the sea anywhere. And no one can stop me.”
Plastic film turns into waves, and asphalt becomes the sea. It’s a playful dialogue with reality — creating “your own” water, even when there’s none.
For some, this look visualises inner strength and imagination; for others — it evokes memories of peaceful days on the Ukrainian coast.
PEACEFUL SKY
In this shot — a soldier who has returned from war.
He is undergoing rehabilitation at TYTANOVI Rehab, a sports and recovery centre for veterans — a place where new life begins for each participant.
He stands against a light-blue canvas — a symbol of hope, peace, and our shared future.
We deliberately chose the city as our backdrop — to highlight something important:
People returning home, re-entering society, learning to adapt again — in their bodies, in their lives, in a reality that no longer resembles the past.
Through this look, we want to say that your comfort zone doesn’t exist in isolation.
The comfort zones of others are built, in part, by you too.
THIS PROJECT ISN’T ABOUT BEAUTY. IT’S ABOUT A STATE OF
BEING.
We want each person to recognise themselves in these images — to remember how essential it is to nurture inner peace and to help others protect theirs.
Don’t forget — no matter what happens around you, you are the one who can change, improve, and create the world around you.
This project was made with love — for people, about people.
