Tell us about your first impressions when you found out about becoming trainers.
Yegor: When I learned that L’Oréal Academy was opening a new branch dedicated to hairdressing and looking for educators, I immediately applied. Later, I was invited for an interview that lasted over an hour. I shared my story, ideas, and vision for the training course — and then waited for the result. When I finally received the news that I’d been selected as the Lead Trainer for L’Oréal Pro Academy, my first thought was: ‘Finally! This is what I’ve wanted for years!

Olya: Of course, it’s an incredible feeling to become a trainer for an international brand that I’ve admired and respected for more than ten years. I realised that sharing experience is an essential part of professional growth. It’s a big responsibility — and I’m truly happy and grateful for this opportunity.

How will the training process look — your responsibilities, what has already happened, and what’s next?
Yegor: Everything is going great! We’ve been given a real opportunity to express ourselves. I’ve already designed the beginners’ training programme, filmed several videos, and participated in a photoshoot with the trainer team.
The course will also be interesting for stylists who are just starting out — those with limited experience who want to grow in this amazing profession. It’s designed to fit into a few days a
week, making it accessible for busy professionals.

Olya: My focus will be on receiving and testing the latest innovations from the international brand, as well as assisting Lyudmyla Romanovska in practice — all theory comes directly from her.

Do you have personal ideas or meanings you want to share with
your students?
Yegor: Yes, absolutely! I have plenty of ideas. It’s fascinating how haircut techniques and approaches to style have evolved over time — and I believe it’s important to pass this modern
perspective on to our students.
Olya: Of course. I want to share all my experience — both practical and theoretical — so the next generation can start their careers with a stronger knowledge base. Of course, it always depends on the person’s willingness to learn and grow.

Proud to see Backstage talent shaping the future of beauty education.
